Falköping

Falköping is a town in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County. It is located about 150 km northeast of Gothenburg on the railway line between Stockholm and Gothenburg. Falköping is also the capital of the municipality of the same name.

Falköping located in the historical area, Falbygden. A settlement can be proved in the 12th century, the city got Falköping rights at the earliest at the end of the 14th century.
