Fanny is an American musical in two acts (18 images ) by Harold Rome. The libretto authored Samuel Nathaniel Behrman and Joshua Logan. It is based on the drama trilogy " Marius, César et Fanny " by Marcel Pagnol. The lyrics are from the composer. Action

Act I

César runs a bar in the port of Marseilles. The 19 -year-old Marius, his only son, since his childhood has been dreaming of hiring as a sailor on a ship and travel to distant lands.
