Fanny Rinne

Fanny Rinne ( born April 15, 1980 in Mannheim ) is a German hockey player. She took with the German national team in the Olympic Games four times and was 2004 Olympic gold medalist.

Biography

Channel began in 1986 at TSV Mannheim with the hockey games. It was 1996, 1998 and 1999, German Youth Champion in the hall. In the adult area, they won with TSV 2002 and 2004 the German runner-up in the hall. On the field, they played until the summer of 2006 in the Bundesliga for the TSV Mannheim. At the beginning of the season 2006/2007 she moved to the former German champions Berliner HC, with whom she won bronze at the State Champion Cup. After the season, she went to the Dutch Hoofdklasse club Haagsche Delftsche Mixed. 2009 returned gutter back to Mannheim and plays since there again for home club whose hockey department became independent under the name TSV Mannheim Hockey 2006. 2010 was the Mannheimerstrasse Interior win for the first time in the club's history the German championship in the hall.

The playmaker of the German women's national hockey team had 341 inserts for Germany. Her biggest success was the surprising winning the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In 2006, the German team to win the Champions Trophy. In Field Hockey European Championships, she won the title in 2007, plus silver medals in 1999, 2005, 2009 and 2011 and bronze in 2003. Channel also took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 part and was once each indoor world - and europe CONCIERGE. Since May 2009 Fanny Rinne was captain of the German women's national hockey team. After the Olympic Games in 2012 she announced her departure.

1999 trough was elected to the Hockey Player of the Year. Five times she was nominated for the World Hockey player. In 2005 she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf.

Besides her athletic inserts in the club and the national team, she studied sports science at the University of Heidelberg and graduated with a Master's from. She works for the city marketing Mannheim in Marketing & Events.
