Far Rockaway, Queens

Far Rockaway is a neighborhood on the Rockaway Peninsula, the New York borough of Queens. Far Rockaway called the easternmost portion of the peninsula, approximately east of the area of ​​Beach 77th Street.

Far Rockaway has an inner urban character while the adjacent Ocean and is more similar to Asbury Park (New Jersey ) and New York City. Far Rockaway is one of the farthest from Manhattan neighborhoods of New York.
