Faranah Prefecture

Faranah is a prefecture in the same region Faranah in Guinea with about 166,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean Prefectures it is after its capital, Faranah named, which is also the capital of the region.

The prefecture is located in the center of the country, on the border with Sierra Leone, and covers an area of 12,400 km ².
