Farmers Branch is a city in Dallas County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located on Interstate 35 and Highway 77, about 20 km north of Dallas in the northwest of the county and has a total area of 31.1 km ² without significant water surface.

According to the census of 2000, there were 27 508 people in 9,766 households and 6,933 families. The population density was 885.1 inhabitants per km ².
