Farsta metro station

Farsta is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in the homonymous district Farsta. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. The station is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day rise 9,000 commuters here.

The station was taken on November 19, 1958 in operation, as the portion of the Tunnelbana was inaugurated between Hökarängen and Farsta. Until August 29, 1971, she was also the terminus of line T18, from then on, the trains on the newly built section to its present terminus Farsta beach. The station is located between the stations Farsta beach and Hökarängen. Stockholm Central Station is about 9.5 km.
