Fatma EkenoÄŸlu

Fatma Ekenoğlu (* 1956 in Paphos ) is a Turkish Cypriot politician.

1983 graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Ekenoğlu Cerrahpaşa at the University of İstanbul. In 1988, she worked as an internist. Between 1988 and 1994 Ekenoğlu worked as a freelance health care professional. From 1994 she was employed at Cengiz Topel - Hospital.

In the parliamentary elections on February 6, 1998, she was elected as an MP of the Republican Turkish Party of the district Güzelyurt, as in the subsequent elections in December 2003, February 2005 and April 2009. Starting January 14, 2004, she was the President of Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. According to the 2009 election it was replaced in this office on 6 May 2009 by Hasan Bozer of the UBP. Since the election of 28 July 2013, it is no longer represented in parliament.
