Fausto Tozzi

Fausto Tozzi ( born October 29, 1921 in Rome, † December 10, 1978 ) was an Italian actor and screenwriter.

Life

Fausto Tozzi graduated in Rome trained as an accountant and worked in administration. Screenwriter Sergio Amidei hired him as a stenographer, which he found contacts to the film.

After the end of World War II, Tozzi operated four years as a screenwriter and assistant director. In 1950 he began his career as an actor and was subsequently featured in many films before the camera, including as Benito Juarez in the Karl May movie The Treasure of the Aztecs. In 1958 he wrote the screenplay for the film Boxer Welker laurel.
