FC Norma Tallinn

The FC Norma Tallinn was one of the most successful Estonian football clubs. The name of the club comes from the factory Norma Tallinn (founded 1891), an Estonian car parts supplier operating. Home stadium was the Norma Staadion (now Maarjamäe Staadion ) with a capacity of 1,000 visitors.

Club history

The club was founded in 1959. He participated in 32 championships of the Estonian SSR, which is a record in the Estonian football history. FC Norma Tallinn was five times sowjetestnischer football champions (1964, 1967, 1970, 1979, 1988) and six times sowjetestnischer Cup winner (1962, 1965, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1988).

After regaining independence in 1991, Estonia's FC Norma Tallinn played in the highest Estonian football class, the Meistriliiga. The association was the first two times Estonian champion (1992, 1992/93 ) and a time Estonian Cup Winners (1993 /94). The club was popular with the Russian-speaking minority in Tallinn.

After the season 1994/95 the club ( Esiliiga ) increased from the 2nd league, a season later in the third league. Following the 1996/97 season, the club was officially dissolved.
