Fear and Trembling (novel)

With awe and trembling ( original title stupeur et Tremblements ) is the title of a novel by the Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb. For the work published in 1999 the author was awarded the " Grand Prix du Roman " of the Académie française. In 2000 he recorded by Diogenes a translation into German by Wolfgang Krege.

Content

The European Amélie, who has spent her childhood in Japan, gets a job at a major Japanese company. However, it is not completed by their assigned tasks.
