Felix Grucci

Felix J. Grucci Jr. ( born November 25, 1951 in Brookhaven, New York) is an American politician. Between 2001 and 2003 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Felix J. Grucci Jr. graduated in 1970 at the Bellport High School on Long Iceland. He then worked in the management of the family's own fire brigade, Fireworks by Grucci. Politically, he belongs to the Republican Party. He was between 1993 and 1995 a member of the town council (town council) of Brookhaven and between 1996 and 2000 as Town Supervisor in Brookhaven operates. In the congressional elections of 2000 Grucci was the first electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Michael Forbes on 4 January 2001. Since he suffered a defeat in 2002 at his renewed candidacy, he retired after January 3, 2003 from the Congress. Then he resumed his activity in his family. He and his wife Madeleine, he has two children together, Danielle and Felix III.
