Fengyuan District

Fengyuan, also Fongyuan (Chinese丰原 区/丰原 区, pinyin Fengyuan Qū, Tongyong Pinyin Fongyuán Qū, W.-G. Feng1yüan2 Qū4, PEH oē - jī Hong Goan Qū ) is a district (区, Qū ) in northern Taichung with 165,000 inhabitants. It is located nearly 15 km north of the central city Taichung.

Location

Fengyuan is located south of the river dajia on the eastern edge of the Taichung basin. Near the city to the highway junction 1 and 4 Fengyuan has a railway station of Taiwan Railway.
