The National Highway 4, better known as Freeway 4, is a highway in Taiwan. As East-West route the highway north of the city Taizhong can be found in the center of the country. It begins in Qingshui, ends in Fengyuan and is 18 kilometers long.

Course

The highway begins as an extension of Provincial Highway 17, which leads to the landing point Tere from the coast of the country, at a crossroads with this. The National Highway leads then signposted Freeway 4 with two lanes in each carriageway on. Shortly after the start of the motorway Freeway 3 is crossed in a motorway junction, which runs to the south of Zhunan after Taizhong. History

The highway was opened on 16 November 2001 for traffic. In 2002 and 2003, the maximum speed of 80 to 90 km / h was increased.
