The National Highway 3a, better known as Freeway 3a, is a highway in Taiwan. As an east-west route north of the country it serves as a feeder road of the freeway 3 in the capital Taipei. The motorway is 5.6 km long.
Course
The Freeway 3a begins in Taipei and then runs through two tunnels to the east. The road continues towards Wanfang where it crosses the freeway 3 shortly thereafter and then ends in Shenkeng. The extension of the road leads as National Route 106 to the 5 Freeway
History
The entire highway was release on 21 March 1996 for traffic.
