Ferdinand Chalandon
Ferdinand Chalandon (* Feb. 10 1875 in Lyon, † October 31 1921 in Lausanne, Switzerland) was a French writer, historian and Byzantinist the early 20th century. He was a graduate of the Ecole des Chartes and the École française de Rome Member.
In 1909, Chalandon for his Histoire de la domination Normande en Italie et en Sicile ( 1907), the Grand Prix Gobert and the Prix of the Académie française.
