Ferdinand von Hansemann

Ferdinand of Hansemannplatz ( Pempowo - ) ( born September 10, 1861 in Berlin, † October 3, 1900 in Berlin) was a German nationalist and anti-Polish politician.

Life

Hansemannplatz was the grandson of David Hanse husband and son of Adolph von Hanse man. After attending school in Berlin, he studied law. In 1882 he passed the state examination and received a doctorate in law. Hansemannplatz married in 1885 Josephine Stienen. The marriage produced four daughters were born. The daughter Frieda later married Leo von Caprivi, a nephew of the chancellor of the same name. After a period in government service, he turned to agriculture and has also studied this subject again. He managed since 1888 Fideikommissherrschaft Pempowo which was the property of his father.

Hansemannplatz called for a stronger Germanization in the province of Posen.
