Ferencvárosi TC Jégkorong szakosztály ( German: Ferencvároser Gymnastics Hockey Club Division ) is a Hungarian ice hockey team from Budapest, which was founded in 1928 and participates in both the MOL League as well as in the Hungarian Championship. The team is the ice hockey department of the famous Budapest Sports Club Ferencvárosi TC.

History

The Hockey Division joined in 1928 the Budapest Sports Ferencvárosi TC on, which was founded in 1899. It took until 1951 that the club won its first league title. This and the two championships in 1955 and 1956 the team won under the name Kinizsi SE Budapest. From 1957, the players were back as Ferencvárosi TC on the ice. Overall, the club has won 25 Hungarian Championship titles and is now sole master record. In addition to winning the Hungarian Ice Hockey Cup 13 times.

Despite the superiority especially in the 1960s and 1970s, the success was not at the national level in recent years, so that the last league title was won in 1997. The last Cup victory dates back to the year 1995. In 2003, the FTC won the Pannonian League, a Southeast European Hockey Championship for the first and only time.
