Fergal O'Brien

Fergal O'Brien ( born March 8, 1972) is an Irish snooker player.

O'Brien since 1991, professional players on the Main Tour Snooker. His greatest achievement was winning the British Open in 1999 after the final victory over Anthony Hamilton. In 2001 he reached the final of the prestigious Masters; but lost Paul Hunter with just 9:10. In 2007, he reached his third final on the main tour at the Northern Ireland Trophy. However, he was defeated by Scots Stephen Maguire 5:9. In February 2014 he reached the final of the Gdynia Open in 2014, where he defeated the Englishman Shaun Murphy with 1:4.

Its highest ranking in the snooker world ranking was No. 9, which he 2000/ 01 held.
