Fernando Kanapkis

Fernando Alfredo Kanapkis García ( born June 6, 1966 in Montevideo, Uruguay ) is a former Uruguayan football player.

Club career

The defender started his career in 1985 at Fénix in the Uruguayan Segunda División. From 1986 to 1990 he played for Danubio FC then in the Primera División in Uruguay. The club was Uruguayan champion during this period in 1988. In the Torneo Clausura 1991, he stood in ten games ( no goals ) in the Argentine first division team Deportivo Mandiyú on the court and in the same year, also in rows of montevideanischen big clubs Nacional. In 1992 he was again contracted to Danubio FC. The Apertura 1992, he played as well as the Torneo Clausura Torneo Apertura and the following year again for Deportivo Mandiyú and there came to a total of 18 sessions (no gate). In 1993 he moved to Brazil Atlético Mineiro, where it was used in that year five times (no gate). A further application did not come during his Zugehörihkeit about the club which lasted until 1994, but added. He returned to Uruguay, where he played from the Apertura 1995 at the annual change in Montevideo Nacional, Huracán Buceo, again Nacional and 1998 finally for Rampla Juniors. In 1999 he left the Uruguayan capital and moved to the western part of the Republic of the Uruguay River to Paysandú Bella Vista during its brief Erstligazugehörigkeit. In 2001 he returned to Montevideo and joined to 2003 the Racing Club.

National

Kanapkis was a member of the national team of Uruguay, for up to 13 October 1993, he completed 20 matches of 30 April 1992 and in which he hit the opponent's goal total of five times. In 1993 he participated in Ecuador in the Uruguayan contingent of the Copa América.
