Ferrari 225
The Ferrari 225S is a 1952 -built racing sports car of Italian car manufacturer Ferrari. The name goes back to the rounded volume of a single cylinder.
In 225S it was a Ferrari 212 Export with its 70 mm aufgebohrtem SOHC V12 engine fitted from a displacement of 2715 cc and with three Weber twin carburettors 36DCF - 154 kW (210 hp) at 7200 rpm scooped.
The rest of the technique of 225S corresponded with box frame, front double wishbones, a solid rear axle and drum brakes on all the other contemporary Ferrari models.
From 225S created in 1952 a total of 12 Spider and 7 coupe with Vignale bodywork ( from designs by Giovanni Michelotti ), a Barchetta with touring body and about two more vehicles with unknown structure.
Successor of the 225S was the 250S.
