Ferretti Group
The Ferretti SpA, which occurs in public under the name of Ferretti Group, is a north-eastern Italy in Forlì (Emilia -Romagna) based manufacturer of luxury yachts, which forms the Ferretti Group and its subsidiaries. The group is Europe's largest manufacturer of yachts and generated 2010/11 sales of 521 million euros.
The company was founded in 1968 by Norberto Ferretti ( Powerboat World Champion 1994) and belonged from 1998 partially, from 2002 entirely to the British private equity firm Permira, which in November 2006, 60 % of the shares for € 1.7 billion to the British Private Equity group Candover sold. However, in the spring of 2009, the company had to be rescheduled, with Candover and Permira were eliminated from the owners circle and the majority of the capital will henceforth be held by Norberto Ferretti, management and Mediobanca. Early 2012 took over the Chinese Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., the Ferretti Group.

- CRN, formerly Costruzioni Navali e Riparazioni Srl, acquired in 1999, builds motor yachts of 40 and 43 meters in length and is also specialized in steel -hull motor yachts 46-85 meters in length.
- Custom Line, acquired in 1996, produces maxi yachts (26 to 37 m )
The group also has also specialized in yacht facilities Diesse Arredamenti SpA, and Zago SpA, acquired in 2002 and 2003. Between 2001 and 2010 was also sold since the Neapolitan boat manufacturer apreamare part of the Ferretti Group.
