FIA Formula 3 International Trophy

The FIA Formula 3 Trophy ( official FIA Formula 3 International Trophy ) was an international Formula 3 competition, which was sanctioned by the FIA. The competition was only carried out in 2011. The already planned the 2012 competition was canceled in favor of a European Formula 3 Championship. The only overall winner was Roberto Merhi.

The FIA Formula 3 Trophy included both races, which were part of a Formula 3 Championship and races that took place so far as a single event.

The FIA Formula 3 Trophy was using the default scoring system of the FIA. This means that the first ten of the race 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 point (s) received. The first three pilots of the competition received a FIA Super Licence, which is a necessary condition for participation in a Formula 1 race weekend.
