Fight (band)

Fight was an American heavy metal band. It was compiled by Rob Halford, after his previous band Judas Priest abandoned in 1992.

History

Halford formed the band along with Judas -Priest drummer Scott Travis, although the latter was more active for Judas Priest. In 1993 the band went into the studio and recorded their debut War of Words. The sound was very different from Judas Priest and was inspired by bands like Pantera, which was later summed up under the term Groove Metal. In 1994 mutation, an EP with live pieces and remixes. On the second studio album, guitarist Russ Parrish was replaced by Mark Chaussee. Halford dissolved the group in 1996 and devoted himself to his next project, 2wo, which was produced by Trent Reznor.
