The Filterheadz are a Techno DJ and producer duo from Belgium.

Band History

The mid- 80s made ​​the Filterheadz their first musical steps in a pop band. Bert played guitar, drums Maarten. They drew inspiration from bands such as U2, The Police, and Simple Minds and today these influences can be heard.

After a whole series of pop, rock, metal and R'n'B projects with modest success, they came over remixes by Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and David Morales more and more in the field of electronic dance music. Your new productions thus oriented strongly to the American house music scene.

In 1998, she came with the Belgian label Music Headroom under contract. After a few releases under various pseudonyms, they decided on the name " Filterheadz ". At this time, Jo Casters became aware of them, and gave to them some remix work commissioned. Your interpretation of " Struggle for Pleasure " ( Minimalistix ) became a club hit. Inspired by Deep Dish and John Digweed they advance into the progressive trance area and have with remixes for Hooj Platypus and some club hits.

When the Filterheadz of Intec were contacted, they produced a Latin techno track ( "Sunshine" ), which was in Ibiza for the summer hit. More remixes for Green Velvet, Bedrock, Eddie Amator, Tiësto and Oliver Lieb followed.

After they released the best-selling techno record of the year, they sought again the musical diversity and released their first mix CD " Tribalicious ". The first album is in the works and should be a mix of electronic music and the Independent.
