The parliamentary elections in Finland 2003 was held on 16 March 2003. It was the election for the 34th Parliament of Finland.

Although so far the strongest force, led by Paavo Lipponen Social Democratic Party was set, but fell short of the Centre Party, with its top candidate Anneli Jäätteenmäki. The center also gained seven seats and disposal in the new Reichstag two seats more than the Social Democrats. The third major party in Finland, the conservative National Coalition Party of Ville Itälä lost 2.5 percentage points and six seats.

Slight losses were also for the Left Alliance and the Swedish People's Party. On the other hand gains drove the Green Federation, the Christian Democrats and the base of fins.

On 17 April 2003, the new cabinet was sworn Jäätteenmäki. The center made ​​it a coalition with the Social Democrats and the Swedish People's Party. Because of a parliamentary affair but Jäätteenmäki stepped back and Matti Vanhanen in the summer, also from the center, her successor.
