Finnvox Studios

Finnvox Studios is a music studio in Helsinki, Finland. It is considered the largest and most famous studio in Finland and is especially popular with metal bands.

Development

In 1965, the Studio A of the Finnvox Studios was founded with a 4 -track recorder. It was the first studio in Finland, which was dedicated to recording. Until 1997, the studio also produces even vinyl records. In 1967 the studios B and C were opened. 1969 8-track recorder was purchased. From 1974, also cassettes were produced in Finnvox studios and reproduced. In the years 1980, 1988, 1993, 1997 and 1999, another studio was opened.

Description

Today is Finnvox Studios consists of eight studios: five for shots and three for mastering. One of the recording studio specializing in recording vocals. In recent years, production in the 5.1 format has become increasingly important. Finnvox Studios is headed by Risto Hemmi and Minkku Peltonen.
