Fischer Brewery

The Brasserie Fischer is a former Alsatian brewery headquartered in Schiltigheim.

History

The Fischer brewery was founded in 1821 by Jean Fischer brewery L'Ours Blanc ( the white bear ), in the Rue du Jeu des Enfants in Strasbourg. In 1838 it was renamed the Brasserie Fischer. Since 1912, it had its own malting, so that they can cover the entire production chain. Since 1996 the Brasserie Fischer was part of the Heineken Group. Heineken brewery closed in 2009. Today existing beers brewed in other breweries.
