FK Rudar Pljevlja
The FK Rudar Pljevlja is a football club from Pljevlja in Montenegro. He played in the Prva Liga Crnogorska, the top division of the country and in 2010 was the first time Montenegrin champions. In the Montenegrin Cup Rudar Pljevlja with three title wins in 2007, 2010 and 2011 record winner.
History
The club was founded in 1920 as FK Breznik Pljevlja and renamed several times in the following years. From 1923 he was named FK Sandžak Pljevlja (after the landscape Sanjak ), from 1945 FK Rudar ( " mountain man " ) Pljevlja, 1947 FK Jakic Pljevlja and in 1955 finally again FK Rudar Pljevlja.
After the independence of Montenegro in 2006 he was a founding member of the Prva Crnogorska League, where he finished fourth in the first season 2006/ 07. In the same year Rudar Pljevlja won the first edition of the Montenegrin Cup with a 2-1 in the final against FK Sutjeska Nikšić. As a Cup Winners' Cup, the club took part in the qualification for the UEFA Cup 2007/ 08, where after two 0-2 defeats he had to retire in the first round against Omonia Nicosia.
After a fifth place in 2008 and a sixth place in 2009 the FK Rudar won in the 2009/10 season his first Masters title, 2-0 in the cup final against Budućnost Podgorica Double made perfect. As a master, the crew managed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League 2010/11. There, the club sat in the first round against Società Sportiva Poli Tre Fiori, the representative of San Marino, 3-0 and 4-1 by. In the second round he dropped out after two defeats (0:1 and 0:4 ) of Bulgarian champions Litex Lovech against.
In the league season 2010/11 Rudar Pljevlja finished with clear behind champions Mogren Budva and Podgorica Budućnost runner-up to third place. By contrast, the title in the Cup by 5-4 on penalties could be defended against Mogren Budva in the final, after it had been after regular time 1:1 and 2:2 after extra time. In the season 2011/ 12 was Rudar Pljevlja both only runner-up, as well as second in the Cup.
