Flag of Crimea

The flag of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is used in its present form since 1992. On April 21, 1999, she was recognized as the official national flag of the autonomous republic of Ukraine.

The flag is composed of three horizontal bars in blue, white and red in the ratio 1:4:1. On May 6, 1992, the Parliament proclaimed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, an official flag was not yet ready at this time. On 5 June 1992 the Parliament five proposals were submitted for decision. On 24 September 1992 the proposal Trusov V. and A. Malgin, which originally was wearing an emblem without the latter officially confirmed by the Supreme Soviet.
