How Flatland also plays flutter country initially in two-dimensional Flatland. Main character is Vikki, a young triangle woman who lives in a house with her family, father, mother and younger brother. The still in Flatland so strict caste system, based on the symmetry of a polygon and the number of pages is significantly mitigated in flutter country, especially as rendered in a modern time it plays. Vikki is the great-great- granddaughter of the main character Albert Square from Flatland ( so calls him Stewart) and one day finds his diary in the attic, then she decides to make contact with a three-dimensional beings. This it also creates and learns Space Hopper know, a being, which is shaped like a space hopper and the other can take with you on a journey between the diverse universes. Vikki accompanied him and learn so many branches of mathematics and physics to know the living object.

Reviews

Flatter land was reviewed favorably by several American mathematicians associations.

In his review of James Howard criticized for flutter country that he lacked the social criticism and satire of Flatland and instead focus on the mathematical and physical component. However, it was not a mistake to read the book, especially in addition to a mathematics degree.

Flatter land was the recommendation of the month, the Central and Regional Library Berlin in August 2005.
