Fleming Key is an island in the Florida Keys, which belongs to the city of Key West and thus to the Monroe County ( Florida). It is about 3.0 km long, 0.4 km wide and has an area of exactly 1,152,488 m² (of which 57 039 m² inland waters). At the 2000 census, no permanent population has been detected .. It is connected with the island of Key West by the Fleming Key Bridge ( Mustin Road), which overcomes a distance of 5.5 meters above the Fleming Key Cut.

The island and the bridge road are part of the Key West Naval Air Station, Trumbo Point and can not by civilians without permission of the U.S. Navy be entered. On the island there is also a wastewater treatment plant, a dolphin research center and a marine corrosion test facility.
