Florea Voinea

Florea Voinea (* April 21, 1941 in Puchenii Mosneni, Prahova County ) is a former Romanian football player. He played a total of 301 games in the Romanian Divizia A and the French Division 1

Career

Florea Voinea began playing football in the big city Ploiesti near his hometown. There he came into the youth of Petrolul Ploiesti, where he not initially jump to the first team succeeded, so he had his first missions for local rivals Prahova Ploiesti in Divizia B from 1959 to 1961 in 1956. In 1961 he returned to Petrolul back and denied on August 20, 1961 against CCA Bucharest ( Bucharest Steaua later ) his first game in the highest soccer league in Romania, the Divizia A.

After Voinea had come in the first round 1961/62 only five appearances, he joined during the winter break Steaua Bucharest, arrived there on hardly to the course. After winning the UEFA youth tournament in the summer of 1962 they played in national team the following season under the name Viitorul Bucharest in Divizia A so that Voinea moved there. He returned already during the season and managed to Steaua with 14 goals in 15 games breakthrough, who was crowned at the end of the season with the Cup victory.

Voinea Steaua remained almost eight years faithful. While the club was subjected in this time in Divizia A large fluctuations in performance and only in the 1967/68 season the championship won, jumped four more Cup wins out in the years 1966, 1967, 1969 and 1970.

In 1970 Voinea was given the opportunity to move abroad, and Olympique Nîmes joined in the French Division 1. There he had his share of one of the most successful years in the club's history, as the next runner-up in the 1971/72 season and the victory in the Coppa delle Alpi in the same year jumped out.

After two years in France Voinea 1972 returned to Romania back to Steaua, but could not build on previous achievements, so he moved to league rivals CSM Resita in the summer of 1973. After only one year, he moved to Politehnica Timişoara on. In 1975 Voinea joined UMT Timisoara in the Divizia B, where a year later he ended his career. Later Voinea worked as a physical education teacher and coached from 1977 unterklassige teams. From 1983 to 1984 he worked in Libya. The mid-1990s he was the coach of Steaua Mizil in Divizia B

National

Voinea played only two games for the Romanian national football team, without being able to score a goal. He made his debut on November 28, 1963 against Denmark. Although he was one of the most successful goalscorers of Divizia A, so that he was no longer taken into account and only came to another application on October 29, 1967 against Poland.
