Florian Hardy

Florian Hardy (born 8 February 1985 in Nantes ) is a French professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2012 at the Ducs d' Angers in Ligue Magnus under contract.

Career

Florian Hardy began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Corsaires de Nantes, for by 2005 he was active from 2003 in the third-tier Division 2. Then the goalkeeper played three years for the first team of the Ducs d' Angers in Ligue Magnus, the highest French league. With Angers he won the 2007 first the Coupe de France, the national cup competition, and then the Trophée des Champions against the reigning champion Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble. From 2008 to 2010 he was ever a year for the first division HC Morzine- Avoriaz and Ducs de Dijon between the posts.

For the season 2010/11 Hardy moved again within the Ligue Magnus and signed a contract with the Chamonix Hockey Club. There he was able to convince especially in the season 2011 /12 and received the Trophée Jean Ferrand as the best goalkeeper in the league. Following the season, he returned to his former club from Angers.

Internationally

For France, Hardy took part in the World Championships in 2010 and 2012.
