Florian Kunz

Florian Kunz ( born February 22, 1972 in Leverkusen) was captain of the German national hockey team of men, as these won the world title for the first time.

Sports career

Florian Kunz, who had already begun at the age of 5 years with the hockey debuted internationally in 1994 at the Champions Trophy in Lahore, where his team finished in 2nd place. He was elected to the World Hockey Player of the Year after winning the national team the Champions Trophy in Amsterdam in 2001. As captain of the German field hockey team in 2002, he won the first German World Champion title in Malaysia. Five times Kunz was European champion in 1995, 1999 and 2003 outdoor and 2001 and 2003 in the hall.

Overall, Florian Kunz played 247 games in the German national team, of which 19 are in the hall. In 2004 he joined after winning the bronze medal back in the Olympics in Athens and has since worked as a real estate investor and real estate developer.
