Florian Wanner

Florian Wanner ( born February 2, 1978 in Wolfratshausen ) is a German judoka.

Florian Wanner's home club is currently the TSV Munich Grosshadern. At the same time he is also in the league for his club on the mat. Wanner fought for Germany in the national team in the 81 kg class. Florian Wanner had his biggest international success with the world title in Osaka in 2003 to 81 kg.

Wanner was able to qualify in his judo career two-time Olympic Games. The first part in the Olympics in 2000 in Sydney ended with a 9th place. After Florian Wanner for the Olympic judo competitions in 2004 qualified with World Championship gold in 2003 in Athens, he was able to fight with three wins and two defeats No. 7.
