Florian Weichert

Florian Weichert ( born January 28, 1968 in Rostock ) is a former German football player (DDR ).

Florian Weichert since 1975, played for the youth of the FC Hansa Rostock. In the 1985/86 season he moved for the first time in the first team. Here, the striker came on four missions in the league and went with Hansa as a table next to last into the DDR -Liga. In the league season, he came again to four inserts and managed direct resurgence. In the following season he did not play and joined the 1988/89 season for the BSG navigation and port of Rostock in the league. After only one year, he returned to FC Hansa Rostock. In the 1989/90 season he played 25 league games, scoring six goals. This season Weichert came in addition to his first international use. In the first round of the UEFA Cup in 1989/90 he was substituted in the second leg at Banik Ostrava in the 62nd minute when the score was 0:2. After a 2:3 in the first leg Hansa lost the return leg 0-4.

Last year, the DDR - Oberliga, the season 1990/91, Weichert won the championship with Hansa and the fdgb Cup. Weichert graduated in Double - Year 19 games with seven goals and was second best scorer of the team behind Henri Fuchs. Through the champion he qualified with the team for the first all-German season in the Bundesliga.

Florian Weichert scored the first two goals of FC Hansa Rostock in the Bundesliga. On the first day of the 1991/92 season he met in the home game against 1 FC Nuremberg 1-0 and 2-0. Of the 38 games this season, he lacked only the 34th game at home against VfL Bochum. With six goals, he was again the second-best scorer Hansa - this time behind Michael Spies. Hansa ranked at season's end the 18th Place and descended to the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the 1991/92 season Weichert came to two other international missions. In the first round of the European Cup of Champions, he stood at two games against the Spanish champions FC Barcelona each full season on the court. He resigned from Hansa after a 0-3 away defeat and a 1-0 home win in the competition.

After the descent, however, Weichert remained in the Bundesliga and moved to Hamburger SV. He completed 20 league games and scored four goals. In the season 1993/94 he was on the second match again for the HSV and then moved on to league rivals and Movers VfB Leipzig. For Leipzig he played in the rest of the season 14 games and scored three goals. Leipzig dismounted as Table at season's end. Weichert then moved to Dynamo Dresden, remaining in the 1st Bundesliga. For Dynamo he came in the 1994/95 season on 14 missions and scored a goal. As already with Rostock and Leipzig, Weichert dismounted with Dresden in the Bundesliga.

After the third relegation from the Bundesliga Weichert moved back to VfB Leipzig in the 2nd Bundesliga. Here he played two seasons, completed 50 games and scored four goals.

As of 2008 works Weichert at MDR television. Paving the way for the work as a journalist was Jörg Pilawa, who once asked the striker, as HSV- professional the match between Hamburger SV and FC St. Pauli for Radio Schleswig -Holstein to comment.
