Flüela Wisshorn

The Flüela Wisshorn (Swiss German for Flüela White Horn ) is a mountain northeast of the Flüelapass in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with an altitude of 3'085 m above sea level. M. It is the highest elevation of the Flüela group. From Vereina from the mountain shows as beautifully shaped pyramid of the Flüelapassstrasse out however, we see him as an imposing, steep rising wall with horizontal, slightly jagged summit ridge.

Location

The Flüela Wisshorn belongs to Flüela group, a subgroup of the Silvretta. At the summit, the municipal boundaries of Davos, Klosters and Susch meet. The Flüela Wisshorn is located at the far end in Jörital and is bordered by the Flüelatal and on the south by the Val Susasca in the West

Among the neighboring peaks include the Jörihorn, the Muttelhorn and Rosställispitz, the Piz Champatsch, the Piz Radönt and the black horn.

On the north flank of the Flüela Wisshorn has a glacier, the Jörigletscher.

Valley is a Davos and Susch. Common starting points are Wägerhus at the Flüelapassstrasse, the Flüela Ospiz or Berghaus Vereina.
