Flying Lizard Motorsports

Flying Lizard Motorsports is a motorsports team from Sonoma, California. The team was founded in early 2003 by Seth Neiman to participate in the American Le Mans Series.

History

The team was ranked 2 in the GT2 class in 2004 in the driver and the team standings.

In 2006, the team with two Porsche 996 GT3 RSRs took 911 with starting number 44 and 45 participated in the full ALMS season. Furthermore, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, a fourth place in the GT2 class has been reached.

At the start of the 2007 season the team 911 generation rose to the following Porsche, the 997 The drivers were Johannes van Overbeek, Joerg Bergmeister and Marc Lieb in the car with the number 45 Darren Law, Seth Neiman and Lonnie Pechnik shared the car 44 45 the car won three victories and reached number two in the team standings behind Risi Competizione. In 2009, the team went to only two cars. The car was driven by 45 Jörg Bergmeister and Patrick Long. After the team in the season opener at Sebring was third with a heavily damaged car, they won the next five races in their class. Then the competition was much stronger than Rahal Letterman Racing competed with their BMW M3 GT2 and Pratt & Miller with their new Corvette.
