Föllinge

Föllinge is a place ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic county of Jämtland.

The place is located in the municipality Krokom, about 65 kilometers northwest of Östersund and is part of the socks Föllinge. This was 1863-1973 a separate municipality. Föllinge is located on a lake, the Föllingesjön. In the village there are two Länsvägär, the Krokom and Strömsund cross linking Länsväg 339 and the Länsväg 344, which passes Hammerdal and Överammer among others.

Föllinge is named after the Föllingekost, a arisen in the 1960s vegetarian diet.
