Roland Grip

Roland Grip ( born January 1, 1941 in Föllinge ) is a former Swedish football player and coach.

Career

Grip played in his youth at Bracke SK. 1962 changed the defender to IFK Östersund in the third league. After two seasons, he went in 1964 to AIK Solna in the Allsvenskan. For the club he played until 1970 106 top-flight appearances. In this he succeeded three goals. In 1971 he signed for second division IK Sirius. With the club he succeeded in 1972, the rise in the Allsvenskan, after two seasons, however, you had to go back. Here he played 50 top-flight appearances and scored five goals. In 1976 he had his career end with SK Iron. 1980 to 1982 he took over as coach at the club.

Grip was a Swedish national team. He played 55 times for the national selection and participated in the World Championships in 1970 and 1974.
