Font Bureau

The Font Bureau Inc. is a manufacturer of digital typefaces and based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Foundry is one of the leaders in the field of type design for magazines and newspapers.

Font Bureau was founded in 1989 by Roger Black, a well-known publications designer, and David Berlow, a renowned type designer. Clients include The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, Esquire Magazine, Rolling Stone and the Wall Street Journal. Working alongside Black and Berlow and also worked other known type designer for The Font Bureau, such as Matthew Carter, Tobias Frere -Jones, Cyrus Highsmith, Christian Schwartz and Petr van Blokland.
