Food Force

Food Force is an educational game that was released by the World Food Programme of the United Nations WFP ​​2005. Of its content, it's a serious game ( game with a learning background ). Gameplay

The game takes place on the fictional island Sheylan in the Indian Ocean, which suffers from drought and civil war. The player is new to a team of UN experts, including a nutritionist, a logistics officer, a pilot, and the director of grocery shopping.

The game contains six missions:

  • Air Monitoring: Finding hungry citizens in a helicopter
  • Food packages: Create a balanced diet of rice, oil, beans, sugar and salt, with a budget of only 30 cents per day
