Forsbacka

Forsbacka is a place ( Tätort ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborg and the historic province Gastrikland. The place is located in the municipality of Gävle, about twelve kilometers south-west of Gävle.

Forsbacka is located on the eastern shore of the large lake at the mouth of the river Gavleån. The town lies on Riksväg 80, Gävle with Rättvik connects between Valbo and Sandviken.
