Fosi

The Fosen (also Foser, latin Fosi ) were a small, only mentioned by Tacitus Germanic tribe in the west central Europe.

To the time of Christ they were probably dependent on the neighboring Cherusci. During the first century, they continued to lose importance and were eventually assimilated by the expanding Angrivariern. The decline of the Cherusker also attracted the Fosen with it.
