Foxboro Hot Tubs

Foxboro Hot Tubs is an American garage rock band. The group is a side project of the punk band Green Day.

Band History

They first appeared in December 2007 and have released two singles and an EP up to now. The other three band members are touring and studio musician mainly by Green Day, but also by other well-known punk bands such as NOFX Pinhead Gunpowder or. The A-side EP Stop Drop and Roll! was offered 8 December 2007 on their website for free download and 5 days later removed. Since April 20, 2008 you can buy a CD or LP with a B-side. The songs were first aired in late May / early June on German radio. Stop Drop and Roll! was number 37 in the UK album charts and # 58 on the Swedish album charts.

Style

The style slightly reminiscent of Green Day, which is primarily due to the significant voice Armstrong, due to which early appeared also rumors of an involvement Green Days. Generally, there are - according to the band - many influences, are often called Iggy Pop, Buddy Holly, The Smiths and The Kinks, so that often the term "60's sound " appears.
