Francesca Michielin

Francesca Michielin ( born February 25, 1995 Bassano del Grappa ) is an Italian pop singer who became known as the winner of the fifth season of The X Factor in Italy.

Biography

With 16 years Michielin participated in the talent show The X Factor and sings with authority by the individual episodes and won five of their nine rounds until the final. They sang, among others, Someone Like You by Adele and Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin. Your semi-final song was Distratto and was written, among others, the singer Elisa Toffoli for them. In the final on January 5, 2012, she then sat down opposite the singer Antonella Lo Coco and the band I Moderni through and won the competition. The final mission was also by special attention that she was the first 3D broadcast on Italian television. Michielin won a recording contract with Sony Music worth 300,000 euros.

Their song Distratto took place immediately after the publication of one of the Italian download charts and sold in the first week more than 60,000 times. An EP with four tracks show appeared shortly thereafter and placed in the top 10 of the Italian album charts.
