Francesco Beschi

Francesco Beschi ( born August 6, 1951 in Brescia) is Bishop of Bergamo.

Life

Francesco Beschi received June 7, 1975 the ordination to the priesthood.

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 25 March 2003 in Brescia and titular bishop of Vinda. The Bishop of Brescia, Giulio Sanguineti, donated to him on 18 May of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Were co-consecrators Bruno Foresti, Archbishop Emeritus ad personam of Brescia, and Vigilio Mario Olmi, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Brescia.

As a motto he chose Secundum Verbum tuum. On 22 January 2009 he was appointed Bishop of Bergamo, and introduced into the office on 15 March of the same year.
