Francisco Álvarez Martínez

Francisco Álvarez Martínez Cardinal (* July 14, 1925 in Santa Eulalia de Ferroñes, Llanera, Asturias, Spain) is a retired Archbishop of Toledo.

Life

Francisco Álvarez Martínez received after studying philosophy and Catholic theology in 1950, the sacrament of Holy Orders. Subsequently, he earned a doctorate in canon law at the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid, after the archbishop 's private secretary and church pastor was.
