Francisco Antonino Vidal

Francisco Antonino Vidal Silva ( * 1827 in San Carlos, † 1889 Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan politician and physician.

Vidal, who had studied medicine in Paris, practiced in 1865, first a minister and was equipped during the Triple Alliance War against Paraguay Venancio Flores with dictatorial powers. He was also a Member of Parliament and Senator. In 1870, he took over instead of Lorenzo Batlle, and later twice by Lorenzo Latorre temporary leadership of the state. The first assumption of official duties Latorres found this place from February 14, 1879 and March 1, 1879.
